About the Event
This workshop fulfills 6 law and ethics continuing education requirement for social workers and focuses on the growing experience of moral injury within the profession. As social workers navigate systems that can conflict with our ethical commitments, many are confronting the emotional and professional impact of working within structures that perpetuate harm.
Participants will explore individual responses to authoritarian pressures, strategies for maintaining ethical integrity, and ways to build allyship with colleagues facing similar challenges. The workshop will also highlight how some social workers have responded to moral injury by creating new professional paths in order to better serve their communities while remaining aligned with social work values.
